Long out of print, Bloody Gore Comix, Canada, resurrected the notorious trilogy publishing #1 in 2016 and #2 & #3 in 2017. For the first time Spore Whores has been collected into one volume and includes additional articles and historical documents about the censorship climate in Australia at the time. SynopsisSpore Whores is set in an apocalyptic future where a devastating and insidious reproductive virus infects humanity. No one knows its origin, nor is there a cure. But its effects are obvious: infected women become riddled with the virus and are driven by a feverish rage to pass its malignant spores onto men through intense sexual activity. Meanwhile men infected by the spores turn into mutated monsters, carriers of the spores, looking for female victims to pass the spores to. And so the cycle continues… As the cities crumble and fall, the harrowing blood feud continues between Sarge and Spacey as they both attempt to negotiate their paths through a haywire world stricken by an ever expanding, unstoppable plague. ReviewsJust a quick note to say how much I enjoyed Spore Whores. It had far more actual story and a more interesting premise than the usual sex and violence comic. Great the way you created the life cycle of the disease through male and female hosts. So many sex and violence comics are created by artists who just want to draw outrageous stuff and only put a bare minimum into story and dialogue. The third part in the deranged and grotesque Spore Whores trilogy is even more disgusting than a soup-bowl full of maggoty dog testicles. Guaranteed to corrupt your soul! One of the greatest horror comics ever published. Does it come with a vomit bag? It's jam-packed with deliciously disgusting sex with hot, diseased babes. You'll never be able to watch another porn flick without experiencing a shudder of revulsion. A fair amount of satisfying violence and gore is also served up.
