Resources depleted.

Decimation.

Wastelands.

Planet crumbling under the strain.

People squabbling.

Violence escalating.

Degradation.

Indignation!

Humanity reduced to scavenging, and worse...

Cannibalism.

Nothing left to save.

Finger poised over the button.

It was time to call it a day.
